Lil' man took a nap without protest for the first time EVER today. Sadly I think he is napping because he is not feeling well. Bad cough, green snot, and slight wheezing. He has an inhaler, but I think he needs a nebulizer, because he doesn't get the whole inhaler thing. He usually blows out instead of breathing it in.
Or maybe he's napping because he cant keep his big ole blue eyes open any longer.. He has been up at all hours of the night for the passed week.
Feel better, Lil Man! Does he have a spacer with his inhaler? The spacer lets the kiddo just breathe normally to get the medicine in the inhaler.

ReplyDeleteIma: Yes, he does have a spacer but he blows out really hard instead of just breathing normally. So I am not sure if he is blowing the meds out?

My Sabrina has a tendency to hold her breath (control struggle, anyone?), and I've had a little bit of success getting her to breathe by having her talk while the spacer is over her mouth. I tried getting her to sing, but that was a big failure. Maybe encouraging Lil Man to talk or sing instead of simply breathing?
