Restore

Most of you  have heard about habitat for humanity at some point or another .  "Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action."

But did you know that habitat for humanity also has stores that sell new, and used building material that you can purchase for a fraction of the price. We visited our local restore yesterday to see what items they had for sale. They had everything from wallpaper to bathtubs, nails, tile, anything and everything you need for your home improvement project.

All of the money made in the store goes right back into building another house.

Had Wayne, and I known about their store a year ago, we could have easily saved a few thousand dollars on our house remodel.
