Haven't heard from the adoptive parents in nine days. I've given up hope that they are going to adopt, but maybe I will be surprised. Lil' Man hasn't mentioned them, and I don't plan to say anything until I find out what the hell is going on.

That is so aggravating and disappointing. Even if they have doubts about the adoption, they should still be in touch while processing their feelings. I hope at least their worker has heard from them! I am sad for Lil' Man.

ReplyDeleteYou should hear something even if it is through the worker... perhaps you should call and see what is up.
ReplyDeleteI spoke with Lil' Mans worker last Tue. She informed me they were going to have staffing sometime next week. I left her a message yesterday but havent heard back. Typically the adoptive family calls and says good night, they have not done so in nine days.
