This afternoon when I went to pick Lil' Man up from daycare the director took me into her office (nothing new). She then informed me that they will no longer be able to care for Lil' Man due to his behaviors. I have until school gets out (middle of May) to find some place else.
I bawled like a baby.
After dinner we ventured down town, to watch the rose bud parade. Up comes Lil' man's school. Much to my shock his entire class was sitting on the float alongside his teachers, and the principle.
I check his folder every night as soon as I pick him up from daycare. There was NOTHING in his folder about a parade. Infact hubby was in his class today visiting, and no one said a thing.
I understand Lil' Man has major issues, but at the end of the day it isnt his fault. He didnt ask to be born let along born to a Mother that drank. I wish people would take a step back and take his little heart into consideration. He is a person too.
I would think about going to his school tomorrow and express my displeasure to the director forcefully. That poor kid.
ReplyDeleteDont worry ladies I am not known for keeping my mouth shut! Roll on tomorrow morning!

ReplyDeleteARGH!!! DISCRIMINATION!! It drives me bonkers. So unfair and against the law and just simply immoral. I feel for Lil Man. I hope he gives him hell til the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteYou need to be at that school first thing tomorrow morning and fight for him. It is so sad that adults would be this cruel
ReplyDeleteAbsolute discrimination!!!
ReplyDeleteGRRRR!
I would let the director know and then find out who is above her as well.
ReplyDeleteHugs Karen I'm sure it hurt your heart.
It makes me so mad when they punish these kids for being victims. All for what purpose, their own convenience? To shelter the other kids from ever knowing that there are kids who have more to deal with than pb&j or ham for lunch. UUUGGGHHH!
