I ain't no redneck woman..

You're An EXTREME Redneck When....

1. You let your 14-year-old daughter smoke at the dinner table in front of her kids.
2. The Blue Book value of your truck goes up and down depending on how much gas is in it.
3. You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws.
4. You think a woman who is 'out of your league' bowls on a different night .
5. You wonder how service stations keep their rest-rooms so clean.
6. Someone in your family died right after saying, 'Hey, guys, watch this.'
7. You think Dom Perignon is a Mafia leader.
8. Your wife's hairdo was once ruined by a ceiling fan.
9. Your junior prom offered day care.
10. You think the last words of the 'Star-Spangled Banner' are 'Gentlemen, start your engines.'
11. You lit a match in the bathroom and your house exploded right off its wheels.
12. The Halloween pumpkin on your porch has more teeth than your spouse.
13. You have to go outside to get something from the fridge.
14. One of your kids was born on a pool table.
15.. You need one more hole punched in your card to get a freebie at the House of Tattoos.
16. You can't get married to your sweetheart because there's a law against it.
17. You think loading the dishwasher means getting your wife drunk .

Gotta love living in Thomasville...

Pizza anyone?

I was talking to my sister Lesley this morning, she was telling me about a "visit" she had with our Mum last night.  Mum came to Lesley in her dream, and told her that everything was okay.  That she was still alive, she told us that Jeff was in trouble (ha ha), whenever he goes to the other side.

Lesley then "asked" Mum, "How do I know its you?, How will I know when you are around?"  She said pizza..strange..

Lesley was in the car on her way to drop off Alex of at "school" he said "Mommy I want cheese and pepperoni." Crazy huh?

and another..

kittens4

All of the kittens survived the night, eating every 3 hours.  We have almost gone thru an entire can of kitten formula in 12 hours ($10 a can).  Each of them has had two baths to kill the fleas.  When they are submerged in the water they look like drowned rats.  All of the cats have some type of eye infection.  Some have it worse than others.  I think one of them might be blind.

We are keeping them in the bathroom away from our other cats. Jannae was up bright and early ready to play with them.

She has given each of them a name: Evan, Devin, Lucky, Annie, and Clarabell.  Tomorrow its off to the pound!

1,2,3,4...oh wait there are FIVE

Today we helped Erine clean out her kitchen cupboards.  Much to our surprise there was "stuff" that expired in 1998! When we were finished we had four large trash bags, ready for the dump.  As we pulled into the dump Jannae started shouting about all the cats.  We were counting them, and spotted about thirty cats, rummaging throughout the dumpster's trying to find dinner.

Then we noticed a baby kitten running passed.  I shouted "quick get the baby one".  As Wayne hopped out the car (like the good husband that he is), he said it isn't one kitten there is a whole litter.  I didn't even have my seatbelt undone, and Jannae was half way out the car.

We spent the next forty-five minutes trying to catch these little buggers who appear to be around 2-3 weeks old.

We stopped by walmart on our way home for some kitten milk, and a litter box. Each cat was given a bath (they were filthy, and have fleas) a blow dry, and a plate full of milk.

Jannae is in kitty Heaven, she wants to keep them all.

Its now 12:32pm and it's almost time for their next feeding. We do not plan to keep any of the kittens (I aint that crazy).  So they will be going to the ASPCA first thing Monday morning, unless any of you Thomasville folk want one..

As we were preparing to leave, a couple stopped by, and asked if we had kittens.  She said there was a tabby that she has been trying to catch. After a 15 minute chase Wayne was able to catch him, so Miss buttercup found a new home!

William did not enjoy Zoinks at all.  He was happy to hang out in the sling while the other kids played.

Happy belated fourth..

Yesterday we went the evening at the local park.  It was full of kids activities, good food, and a great fireworks display at the end of the evening.

I of course left my camera in the car so I have no pictures.

Hey you, watch your kid..

Once a week we visit our local Chick fil A.  After lunch we enter the indoor play place.  They are usually 5-6 children running around, and going mad. 90% of the time I am the only "parent" in the play place, while all of the other adults sit and enjoy a quiet lunch.

Today I broke up a fight, helped a little girl who was stuck and crying, and also comforted a little girl whose fingers got stuck in the door. In the 25 minutes we were in their not one other parent came in to check on their child(ren)

Instead of chit chatting, watch your children, because truthfully I don't want to
